Squash Soup Recipe 1.6 Litres
Author: Lesley Smith
Cuisine: Soup
Recipe type: Soup Maker
Serves: 4 - 6 Bowls
Prep time:  10 mins
Cook time:  21 mins
Total time:  31 mins
Ingredients
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Carrots
  • 3 Small Potatoes
  • 1 Small Squash
  • Hot Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Chicken Stock Cube
Method
  1. Prepare the vegetables and chop up into reasonably small pieces as they are going into a soup maker.
  2. Pop the vegetables into the soup maker and add some salt and pepper to taste. I added one chicken stock cube and flaked it onto the vegetables.
  3. Fill the soup maker up to the maximum 1.6 litre line, put on the top and select smooth or chunky. The smooth version will take 21 minutes to fully cook.
  4. Serve with fresh bread.
